The Occupational Scholarship is an extension of the 加勒特县奖学金计划, providing funding for eligible students to obtain occupational training in courses leading to industry-recognized certification.
Eligible students are defined as Garrett County residents who will graduate from a Garrett County High School in June of the current year, received their GED during the prior academic year (but prior to June), participated in an acknowledged Home School program, or are current high school students eligible for dual-enrollment. The Occupational Scholarship funds tuition and fees for eligible students who successfully complete their course/program. 奖励基于可用资金.
The Occupational Scholarship is a component of the Garrett County Commissioners Scholarship Program that provides funding to high school graduates who wish to pursue occupational training rather than a “traditional” college education.

- All workforce programs require a $25 non-refundable application fee which cannot be paid with scholarship funds.

It is the student’s responsibility to withdraw from a course that he/she cannot attend. Please note that failure to attend at least 75% of the course sessions, or failure to complete assigned coursework, may result in the termination of funding; as a result, the student will be charged for the entire cost of the course.
